Keynote Speakers Announced for NEARMUG 2009
On Monday April 6, Wes Durow (Vice President Enterprise Global Marketing & Channel Strategy) will be giving our Keynote Address discussing Nortel's long-term vision. Stay tuned for more information on Wes' Keynote address. This will be an excellent opportunity to hear from one of Nortel's Enterprise Executives. Make sure you invite your Senior Management team to this session!
On Tuesday April 7, Mark Fletcher (CS1000 Emergency Services PLM) will be focusing on Nortel technology. We've been fortunate to have Mark at previous conferences and are thrilled to have him back for 2009.
Global Knowledge Courses for NEARMUG 2009
We're excited to have 2 Global Knowledge Courses at this year's conference.
Sunday from Noon - 5pm: Introduction to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) (GK Course 6340)
More and more vendors are offering products that use Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) as their signaling protocol. This course gives you a solid grounding in the purposes of SIP the architecture of SIP and how SIP functions so that you are prepared to understand the behavior of the various SIP devices in your network regardless of vendor.
Wednesday from 9:30-3:30: Ethernet Switching and Resiliency (GK Course 6701)
This is course provides a basis for understanding Ethernet switched networks. It is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of Ethernet. Regardless of your current level of knowledge you will gain a solid understanding of the operational and theoretical components of an Ethernet Switched network and the standards that make them work.
Each course is available for $75 per course with the purchase of a Full Conference OR you can get the courses for $175 per course if you are not attending the conference. Space is limited so be sure to book fast! These courses will sell out.
